Rick D. Dunham, CPA, EA, PFS

Rick founded Dunham Associates, CPAs in 1996. His specialty is working with high net worth individuals and businesses here in Silicon Valley and enjoys the dynamics of tax and financial planning and business consulting. Rick’s goal is to help his clients increase their net worth and lower taxes. This goal is facilitated by gaining a thorough understanding of each client’s personal and business financial situation and assessing a variety of strategies to determine how best to obtain the clients’ personal and financial goals. Rick is an Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS). As the managing partner of the firm, Rick oversees day to day decisions and activities of the firm along with strategic planning for firm growth.

Rick and his wife and have 3 sons. He coaches Pop Warner Football and at his home in Morgan Hill he grows grapes and makes his own wine.

Rhonda Richards, CPA

A graduate of CSU Chico, Rhonda works closely with a wide variety of individual and business tax and accounting clients addressing their many concerns including tax issues, preserving wealth, retirement and estate planning, and computerized accounting system setups.

Rhonda specializes in auditing ERISA and 401(k) retirement Plans. With over 25 years of experience in public accounting, she has the overall technical responsibility for employee benefit plan audits at Dunham Associates, CPAs. She is co-chair of the Silicon Valley San Jose Chapter of CPAs ERISA Discussion Group that meets periodically to share technical aspects of plan audits in an effort to stay current with new regulations.

Grant Beech, EA

During 2007, Grant merged his tax practice with Dunham Associates CPAs bringing with him 32 years of experience in tax preparation and consulting with individuals and small businesses. He also has expertise in the fiduciary and estate tax fields. He started his business in San Jose in February of 1976, then grew it from scratch with referrals from numerous satisfied clients.

Grant was born and raised in Portland Oregon and moved to the Bay area in 1963. He and his wife enjoy fly-fishing (he is a former president of San Jose Fly Casters). He loves to play golf and can usually be found on the golf course when he is not in the office.

He sits on the board of a non-profit corporation, Peace-It-Together that deals with teen dating violence, and is a director in a charitable foundation and a trustee for several trusts.

Mike Park, CPA

Mike started with Dunham Associates CPAs in January 2000. He specializes in individual and small business tax planning and preparation. He also manages financial statement audits for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. Mike was born and raised in Hawaii, graduated from University of Oregon, and has lived in the bay area since then. He is a member of the California Society of CPAs and is on the United Way Audit Review Committee.

Jasbir Sekon, CPA

Jasbir specializes in the preparation of business, individual, international tax returns, and audit representation. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Punjabi University of Patiala, India and Certified General Accountants' designation from Canada. Jasbir moved to the United States in 1995 and has been working with Dunham Associates since May, 2000. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to India.

Jon Mills, CPA

Jon is a graduate of the University of the Pacific. Before joining Dunham Associates in 2002, he worked in the financial industry. Jon specializes in small business and partnership taxation and accounting. He enjoys building relationships with his clients and providing them with solutions to their individual needs. He also manages 401k audits and financial statement audits for our corporate clients. Jon was born and raised in San Jose and came back to the bay area after graduating from UOP. In his free time, Jon enjoys spending time with his family, working on home improvements, playing golf, and being outdoors. Jon is a member of the California Society of CPAs.

Peter Dent

Prior to joining Dunham Associates in 2010, Peter owned and operated a bookstore in San Jose. He received a B.A. in English at San Jose State University before studying accounting at Santa Clara University and is currently studying Taxation in a Master's degree program at San Jose State. When not at work Peter enjoys hiking, reading and playing the guitar.

Cora Williams, Senior Administrator

Born in Denver, Colorado, Cora is generally the first smiling face you see as she manages the various firm administrative duties. She has been working with the company since its inception and is invaluable in the administrative department.

Kelly Dunham, Special Projects, Events Coordinator

A Bay Area native, Kelly attended Los Gatos High School. She has been an integral part in the growth of Dunham Associates since its inception by continually supporting the administrative team, particularly during tax season. Aside from the administrative work Kelly handles, she also takes care of a variety of Special Projects and is the Dunham Associates Events Coordinator.

She and her husband, Rick, live in Morgan Hill with their three active boys. She serves as the Treasurer of Morgan Hill Pop Warner and when she’s not working at Dunham Associates, she stays very busy with the boys’ numerous activities.

Jack Wedgwood

Jack is a graduate of the School of Industrial Management at Purdue University and received an MBA from Santa Clara University. He worked in the electronics industry for 15 years, primarily dealing with financial management issues. For the last 20 years he has worked with individuals on portfolio management and tax, estate and charitable planning.

Jack is currently a Director of the Technology Credit Union and is Treasurer of the Bear Valley Residents, Inc., a homeowner’s association of a vacation home community

D. Rex Rousselot, ChFC

Rex is a graduate of the University of Denver with a BSBA Finance degree, and has an extensive background working for several Fortune 500 financial services companies. Presently, he is working as a Registered Investment Advisor and financial planner primarily focusing on the needs of high net worth clients.

Nicole Bennett

Nicole joined Dunham Associates CPAs in 2009 with three years of experience. She is a graduate from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Her duties include bookkeeping, corporate, non-profit and individual tax returns, and number of various client correspondences. She is currently studying for the CPA examination. In her free time she enjoys playing the piano, snowboarding and spending time with her family.

Shelly Shisler

Shelly, a San Jose native, came on board with the Dunham team as an administrator in December 2009 after a 24 year stint running her own contracting firm. Her background brings a wealth of administrative, organizational and customer service knowledge to our firm.

In her free time she enjoys drawing and painting, home improvements, working on cars, gardening, reading and hiking. She also loves spending time with her two adult children.
